The Cyrus Forged Monoblock wheels are created from a heated aluminum bar and pressed at different steps by an 8000-ton press to form a roughly cylindrical shape. The flow-forming process is then used to stretch the channel, aligning the granular flow of the aluminum for greater support of working loads.
The wheel is then exposed to heat treatment to improve its mechanical properties.
Combyses wheel with its distinctive dynamic design represents a significant advancement in our Series Forged Monoblock, combining lightweight design with track-focused optimization. It introduces purposeful I-Beam structures, efficient lug bolt pockets, and meticulous craftsmanship to enhance the aesthetics and driving dynamics of exotic cars, coupes, sedans, and SUVs.
The raw aluminum components are processed using 3 or 5-axis milling machines to bring designs to life. The high-quality CNC mills allow for the machining of intricate shapes and contours, enabling the production of diverse wheel designs. Precision milling ensures perfectly round wheels, with runouts consistently tested to within 0.009" (9 thousandths) to eliminate wheel vibration at high speeds.
